Stella's Baptism

Stella was baptized on October 21st 2012

It was such an amazing day with family and friends

 

Stella did not enjoy being immersed in the water, but Father Levitt was so kind and tried to be fast for her. He even made sure the water was warm before the service.

 Stella got a bike helmet from her uncle olli, we can't wait till next summer when she can ride with dad! And then we will have to visit Germany so she can ride with Olli

 Three generations, all three of us were baptized in that gown. 

 We are so lucky to have such a wonderful, supportive family! Thank you for all our family who came out for Stella's baptism and those who couldn't make it, but sent their love and prayers. We could not be more blessed!

5 months! 

Happy Fall

We have been very busy this last month! Stella went swimming for the first time and loved it. She got lots of attention from the little kids in swim class and the old ladies doing water exercise! 

Stella got to meet the McCallum's! At our annual McCallum family golf outing Stella and June got to meet each other and everyone else. It is so much fun to have other babies around, and we can't wait to get everyone together again for Christmas.

Stella finally got to meet Tiffany! It has taken a while to get us all together, it was so fun. We also got to see Roxanne and Caleb! 

Stella is working very hard to move around. She can roll, mostly from her back to her belly, but she doesn't get far once she's on her belly. She likes to lift up her arms and legs like she's flying. One day she will realize that she needs them on the ground to use them to move, or maybe she'll just take off!

She is smiling and laughing all the time. She can sit up and stand supported. She likes to be sitting up more know while she plays.

Enjoying a nice fall day, Our first fire of the season! Stella was mesmerized by the fire and was soon sleeping outside. 

Back to work

I have been back to work for a few weeks now and each day away from Stella is hard. I do love my job, but being home with Stella is the best! She goes to Villa Montessori on the days that I work, 2 days a week. Then She gets daddy time on the weekends that I work. This was my first weekend back and the first daddy and Stella weekend. The kept very busy going to the quad city marathon, out to a few pubs, and lots of play time at home. I can't believe how fast time is going, Stella will be 4 months old this week. And this morning on the news I heard only 3 months till Christmas!

Stella got to play with both of her grandma's for my first week back at work. They were such a big help and made my transition back to work easier! 

Cousin FUN! We had such a great time at Great grandma and grandpa's house. It was so great to get everyone together. These cousins are going to have so much fun together as they get big!
